Crying over spilled milk

We are still working on drinking out of cups.  They both still play in the cups and Cooper particularly likes to put food in his drink and then drink it all together (gross).  Charlotte is clumsy and doesn’t seem to understand that when she shakes the cup or tilts the cup, the liquid spills.  Here she is crying over spilled milk.

At least she is also a good little helper and loves to help clean up!DSC_1019_edit

Charlotte loves all the tools and likes to ‘fix’ things.DSC_1022_edit

Cooper is very nurturing to all the baby dolls and stuffed animals.DSC_1023_edit

Giving Elmo loves.DSC_1050_edit DSC_1057_edit

Attacking the dog with blankets.  Scout loves to be under blankets and then wrestle to get out from under them.  She also likes to play tug of war with them.  The kids have realized this is fun….although I don’t think Scout likes to be attacked by TWO of them!DSC_0823_edit

Charlotte is learning to climb better, and now she climbs onto the sofa table and then jumps onto the couch.  This means lots of bruises and fat lips for her.  I like how she looks like a little baby Tarzan here.  I also like that Cooper is in the background getting into something on the counter that he shouldn’t.DSC_0906_edit

The Tarzan picture is adorable.

I'm surprised that you're just now doing sippy cups. I guess I didn't ever think about that being something that differs amongst children too. Ellie practically insisted on using sippy cups even before she was a year old. I'm not sure when we switched to cups only... probably when I stopped breast feeding around 13 months. Interesting.

They've had sippy cups since they were about 9/10 months old. We introduced regular cups around 20 months old (Cooper was 16 months). We struggle when to introduce things because of the 4 month age gap.

Also it's stressful with 2 of them because they copy each other. If one accidentally spills, the other does it on purpose. If one shakes the cup on purpose, so does the other one. It's tough to keep our eyes on two of them at the same time.
