We have a new date for the adoption finalization: May 20th at 8:30 am! All of the social workers tell us that they don't see this date slipping. We really hope it stays in May since we want to move out of this apartment in June, but we can't move until the adoption is finalized otherwise we have to start over with the homestudy process. No more delays! (I guess our CO adoption worker quit suddenly so it delayed everything and that's why we couldn't finalize in March.)
We plan to have a celebration for the adoption finalization while we're in town...we need to work out where to have it though. We figure it will be around 30 people including children. We want to keep it casual and low key, so I'm looking forward to planning it! If you have any recommendations let me know!

WHOO HOO!! I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that it doesn't change again. Your welcome to have the party at our house, especially if it's nice out we have a great backyard now. However, if you'd like to do at a place that's more neutral. you can rent a place like Botanic Gardens, or maybe just a park, if we keep having weather like we are having May should be in the 80's by then :). HA HA. Let me know if I can help with anything.
