Charlotte woke up at 4 am the other morning. She wandered aimlessly around the upstairs while I tried to convince her several times to go back to sleep. I tried putting her back to bed but she insisted she had to play with her new trains she got for her birthday (I promise to eventually post on that). Then I tried to get her to go to sleep on the oversized chair in our room. She stayed put for 10 min, then moved herself to the bench at the foot of the bed and insisted it was time for Handy Manny. She wandered around a bit more then crawled into bed with us.
Cooper had already climbed into bed with us shortly before Charlotte started wandering around. Charlotte climbed into bed and laid right on top of Cooper! I told her she couldn’t lay on Cooper and she says, ‘No my Coopeh’. I gently tell her I understand that she loves Cooper but she needs to lay next to Daddy and I move her off of Cooper. She says again, ‘No my Coopeh!’ and then lays back on him. I tell her she absolutely cannot sleep on Cooper because he won’t be able to breathe. She moves off him and down to the foot of the bed where she lays on Scout and proclaims, ‘My Towty’.
(On a side note I have to say that I LOVE that both Cooper and Charlotte refer to each other as ‘My Coopeh’ and ‘My Shawyotte’.)

I love how Ellie calls her sister "my baby" or "my Addie" so I completely understand. I love how proud she is of her baby sister.
