Cooper: Mommy I want some of your milk. I want mama milk.
Me: [thinking how the heck does he remember that] Honey I don’t have any more mama milk. You drank it all remember?
Cooper: I want some. Just go drink a cup of milk and it will go down right in there. [points to my breasts]
Me: Oh, I don’t think it works that way. Why don’t we read some books and cuddle instead.
I’m wondering when the day will come that he no longer asks about nursing. I’m thankful we had such a great experience and were able to do it for so long.
I will also miss our bedtime chats. He is so adorable and chatty right before he falls asleep. He loves having us lay down with him or sit next to his bed until he falls asleep. I will miss it when he no longer wants me to ‘tuck him in’.
