Duct Tape fixes everything!

We noticed bumps on Charlotte's armpit area a few weeks ago. They haven't gone away so Chris took her to the doctor today. Come to find out she has Molluscum Contagiosum which is caused by a poxvirus.

The crazy part? It goes away by itself but takes 6-18 months. It can spread rapidly and last longer if the child (typically affects 2-12 yr olds) has eczema which Charlotte does. It can also spread to other children in warm water. Wish we had known that instead of bathing the kids together over the last few weeks.

No treatment unless it spreads rapidly. Otherwise we can put duct tape over them. Looks like duct tape really does fix everything!

Wow, internet getting fancy if these things can spread from reading blogs :) ...my daughter had that a few months ago...dermatologist also called them water warts. He didn't give us nearly as many details. They are gone now.
