38 weeks, 2 days: Sunshine on Perpetual Christmas Eve

It has been a very productive 2 days!  I finished my book (and really enjoyed it), sent Heather's package, bought some fleece material (it was $6 instead of buying a new blanket), packed the hospital bag, made dinner twice, made significant progress on the announcements, and had lunch with Caren and Jennifer.  All I have left on my list is to make dinner once more, call the chiropractor and paint the quote.  I guess all I need is a list to make me motivated!

I'm loving how the announcements are turning out!  If only I know what day and time he'll arrive, and his other stats, then I could have them nearly finished!  Of course, that's not reasonable, but I should only have minimal work to do once he's here.

Today I had lunch with Caren and Jennifer and I had a really good time.  It's so nice to spend so much time with them now that I'm not working and don't have school.  They have tons of great advice for me and I love hearing about all their mom's club drama and problems they're having with parenting.  I finally feel like I'm joining some secret society of motherhood.

Caren and I wandered around Bella Terra shopping center after lunch and just enjoyed the sunshine.  It felt great to not have to be anywhere or do anything and just enjoy it.  I have to say though, it feels a little like perpetual Christmas Eve waiting around for Cooper.  I think we are really ready to go.  Jennifer says she thinks he'll be here either 15th/16th, or 22nd.  I just know it will be by the 30th because my doctor will induce me by then.  At least I know it will definitely be within the next 3 weeks.
