22 weeks, 4 days: Preparation for 3 am feedings

What's happening with the baby (since I forgot to do this on the last entry):
The baby measures 7.6 inches and weighs 12.3 ounces. The muscles are getting stronger every week now, and the eyelids and eyebrows are developed. The baby's acrobatics are pretty constant, and since he responds to sound, rhythm and melody, singing and talking to him my cause him to move. After he's born the same sounds will soothe him.

Baby Cooper has decided that I need preparation for 3 am feedings. This comes only 4 months early! For the last several nights, at 3 am on the dot, he has kicked me so hard that I've woken up. So then he proceeds to kick for at least an hour, sometimes more, which makes it very difficult for me to go back to sleep. I am SOOO tired!! I guess it's only the beginning of several years of sleep deprivation.

It doesn't help that I seem to be fighting a slight cold. I never felt like I got sick, only that I had allergies. No fever, or aches or anything. Then all of sudden my head was stuffed up and now I'm fighting a cough.

Christopher and I were sitting on the couch just being lazy last night. He laid his head next to my belly and starts talking to me. All of sudden, Cooper starts kicking like crazy! I guess he loves his daddy's voice. So cute.

Can I just say how excited I am to go home for Christmas!! I am really looking foward to seeing everyone. Only a couple more days!!!
