We went to my work holiday party on Friday. It was a lot of fun! I got out on the dance floor with my little pregnant belly and danced for a bit. Whew...that was hard work! It's a whole different story to dance with no ab muscles!
My sister had her baby on Friday, too. She had a baby girl, Anabella Jade. She went to the hospital when she started having contractions at noon. By the time she got there it was too late to get an epidural so she had Anabella at 3:30 pm all natural.
My stomach has been officially squished up below my ribs. It's weird to get hunger pains there and even stranger to feel full so soon after I eat. I can barely eat anything in one sitting! I have to eat multiple small meals now. I guess it's healthier that way, anyhow!
We decided on a name! It seemed crazy to use Christopher Jr. because of the birthdays and possible identity issues later. So we decided that if we have another boy we will name him Christopher. The first boy we have will be named Cooper Jacob! At first I wasn't sure if we chose the right name because there are so many names out there! But this week I had a couple dreams that convinced me...
Dream #1:
I had a dream that my mother-in-law called him "Meeks" for a nickname (I have no idea where that came from). I got so upset, I started yelling, "His name is Cooper!! Don't call him anything but Cooper!! Cooper, Cooper, Cooper!!" So funny...I guess I wanted to say the name over and over to convince my self.
Dream #2:
I was living with a family who had a little 2 year old girl and 7 year old boy. I have no idea why I was living with them or where Christopher was. So their little boy started playing tricks on me and made my bath water super hot so that I couldn't take a bath. So I dumped a whole bathtub full of Doritos in for his bath! Then I said "Cooper, no more playing tricks." His mother then suddenly tells me, "Well you can't name your son Cooper if there is already a Cooper in the house." I turned to her and simply said, "I've already chosen a name and he will be named Cooper. It doesn't matter if I already live with a Cooper."
Updated belly pics are posted. And check out this link. It's so funny, we elfed ourselves!
