33 weeks, 1 day: Ice, Ice Baby

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I hate ice in my drinks, unless I'm drinking from a straw. I hate the ice clinking against my lips and teeth while I drink and I especially hate how it suddenly will make the water over-flow out of my mouth. Maybe it's just because I never learned how to drink out of a cup with ice in it.

Now that I'm pregnant, I MUST have ice in my drink. I want everything super cold, so that means I have to have ice in all my drinks. I'm especially addicted to ice water and iced tea. I've also found that because I am always dying of thirst, I tend to gulp down my drinks and spill down my shirt almost every time. So ice or no ice, you will often see me with a wet splash down the front of my shirt.

(Crap...just dropped a blueberry from my yogurt on my white shirt...guess it's more than just water these days!)

We saw The Other Boleyn Girl yesterday. It was a lot of fun to get out and enjoy a relaxing day. The movie wasn't that great. If you've read the book (like we have), it seems like the movie is telling a completely different story. The movie cut out a lot of parts and seemed to tell a story about Ann Boleyn instead of Mary Boleyn, like the book intended. We were just disappointed.

We should have gone to see Fool's Gold. At least the movie tickets were free! Vons (which is Safeway in Denver) has a special in the Month of March that when you buy $30 in frozen foods, you get free movie tickets. We just went to the store to stock up for the month...so it worked out well!

We saw I Am Legend a few weeks back and I am just now reading the book. So far they aren't much alike. I think it has to do with the date of the book, though. The movie just brings the book up to present-day technology. I guess that's just how books and movies are--they usually aren't much alike

I've received two gifts at work today! People are so generous. We got a couple of outfits for Cooper for when he is older, and some more books for his library!
