One of my coworkers kindly offered to babysit for us today. We left right after Cooper woke up (he woke a little early) and went out to lunch. We had great sushi and then went to the movies. Going to the movies used to be one of our favorite kind of dates, so it was a great afternoon.
We saw The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. It was a fantastic movie and I highly recommend seeing it! It is a perfect movie to celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month, since it is about a couple who basically foster-adopt a near 18 yr old boy. He now plays in the NFL. Really great story—very inspirational!
We came home to two very happy toddlers and my coworker said they were really good. I love having time away from the kids for just Chris and I and I wish we could have more of those times. In time I suppose….
Something gross: we had to disinfect the tub and bath toys because I didn’t catch Cooper it time to put him on the toilet while he pooped. I’m so glad my husband volunteered for clean up! How very nice of him.

Glad you had a good date day! (We've had to disinfect the tub LOTS of times. We now keep a bottle of bleach in the girls' bathroom).
