This was a particularly difficult weekend. Yesterday afternoon (when Chris goes to his guitar lesson and I get time with the kids alone), Cooper got up early from his nap and was super crabby all afternoon. This meant he basically cried for 2 hours. My nerves were shot from yesterday. Today Charlotte cried and whined pretty much all day. Cooper is growing and his hungry all the time and Charlotte is getting her last 2 molars on the bottom.
We are always looking for ways to make our lives easier, especially when we have days like yesterday and today. The kids have learned to push chairs to where ever they want to climb/get into stuff so we’ve had to get creative. I mean how do you child proof a table and chairs? This is how:
For child-size table and chairs just tie a piece of rope to the chairs and attach the other end to the table. First they get mad, but then they get used to it.
For adult size table and chairs, use bungee cords and attach opposite chairs to each other. The chairs get bunched together, but now they can’t climb on the table or move the chairs.
There is going to be a new device on the market soon! How many mom's own sippy cups with straws? And how the heck do you get those straws clean? They get really gross with the toddler backwash!! Check out this really cool product coming out soon! This woman will probably make some big bucks. Wish I would have though to put a brush on a piece of wire that could be shoved down a straw and sell it for $4! I could quit my day job!!

Hey Hon, your hyperlink didn't work to the product. I gave up using those straw things, not only because they didn't clean very well, but also because Maile chewed hers to pieces. Plus I hate when you open them, and they squirt all over the place. YUCK!
