Today is Veteran’s Day – so thank you to all the service men and women who have served our country!
Today is also my brother’s birthday. He is 10 years younger than me, and because we were raised by our single dad, I have often felt more like a mom than a sister to my brother. This has changed since we have gotten older and I am enjoying getting to know my adult brother.
Some of my favorite photos of him (no, these are not pictures of Cooper, I swear!)
He had to have been less than 2 in this picture. He would always slam the football down and say ‘touchdown’!
Pretty sure he LIVED in this outfit for years. He was probably about 3 here.
Him and his dog, Lady. Probably 4 here.
Kindergarten picture. He is still a Ninja Turtle fan. I need to watch the movies with him again and play the video game!
This was when he was 9 or 10 because I was about a year into college. It took me a long time not to see him as a 9 year old anymore.
At my wedding, so he was almost 13. He was the escort for our mom and grandma.
With with my youngest siblings. I think the last one we took together.
This will always be my favorite photo of him and our dad.
He and my dad flew out for my graduation from Pepperdine. He had just turned 17.
And I don’t have any recent photos of us together. I will have to fix that! Happy Birthday to my (baby) brother.
